The best part about having siblings is being able to learn, grow, and play with them, but nothing hit home more than watching them grow up right before your eyes. I still can’t wrap my mind around the fact that my baby brother is a senior in high school, but here we are out taking his senior pictures.

For Robert’s session, we knew that we wanted to incorporate the trumpet somehow. Robert is involved in both marching band and jazz band in high school, so music has played an important part in his life.
One way to make your senior photo stand out is to add something unique to you. The way you dress, the location you choose, and if you decided to incorporate any items, all help to tell the story of who you are.

We went to Succop Nature Park in Butler, and utilized the barn and chicken coop for the setting of his pictures. Robert is an outdoors person, and he loves the country, so we knew right away that would be the setting for his session.
When it came to what he wore, he kept it very simple with jeans, a simple t-shirt, and a plaid long sleeve shirt. One thing to keep in mind is that you want to wear something that makes you comfortable. The age of dressing up in suits and fancy clothing is over, and it is much better to wear what reflects you.
The one thing that I love about photography is not only being able to capture people but their passions as well. Check out more photos from Robert’s senior session below.
